Phase 3: Concrete pile caps

All reinforced pile caps have now been completed, setting the stage for vertical assembly.

Following the completion of piling and substructure preparations, the project advanced to the next stage: casting reinforced concrete foundation blocks, also known as pile caps. Anchored to one or two CFA piles depending on structural load, these blocks are designed to support prefabricated columns in the upcoming phase.

Each cap includes pre-installed anchor bolts, precisely embedded to ensure a seamless and secure connection. Due to low winter temperatures, concrete works were temporarily paused to preserve structural integrity without relying on chemical additives. As conditions improved, all pile caps were successfully completed.

This milestone prepares the site for vertical assembly, bringing the hangar’s structure visibly to life.
