Phase 4: Vertical structural assembly
Prefabricated concrete columns are now being installed, forming the primary vertical structure of the hangar.
These reinforced concrete elements are mounted onto pre-installed anchor bolts embedded within the pile caps. Each column is positioned with high precision in both alignment and verticality, as it will support the upcoming steel roof structure. To ensure structural stability, bracing elements are installed between columns, including cross bracing and horizontal members. At the same time, reinforced concrete core walls are cast between selected columns, creating stiffening zones that transfer horizontal loads and provide overall structural rigidity. Parapet beams are also being installed, forming the lower perimeter of the hangar and providing a robust base for the future facade system.
This phase marks the first visible outline of the hangar - transitioning the project from foundations to full structural form.
